Measure an Existing Ring

Ring Size Tips (That Actually Help)

• Your ring should slide on comfortably and come off with a little resistance, not too loose, not too tight. A snug fit helps it stay secure and feel good all day.

• Fingers change size depending on the time of day and the temperature. They tend to shrink in the cold and swell in the heat, so don’t measure when your hands are cold. For the most accurate result, measure your finger at the end of the day when it’s warm.

• Double-check your size by measuring more than once, and don’t forget to peek at our handy ring size measurement guide while you’re at it.

• Left and right hands? Not exactly twins. Make sure you measure the exact finger you’ll wear the ring on.

• If you have larger knuckles, take two measurements, one at the knuckle and one lower on your finger. Then go with the size in between.

• The width of the ring matters! If you’re choosing a wider ring, it can feel a bit tighter. In that case, consider going half a size up for comfort.

• Between sizes? Always go with the larger one. It’s better to be a little roomy than too snug.
